Tradition of Romanian cuisine

Casa Bunicii (Grandma's House) was established 10 years ago and has at its core the traditional local (banatean) cuisine. Everything that we serve is homemade, from sauces to the sour cherry syrup. Therefore, that's no need to worry about the authenticity of our meals. Plenty of our recipes are chosen from what my grandma was cooking in my childhood in a small village 24 km from Timisoara, called Jebel. When I opened the restaurant I tried to reproduce as much as I could from her cooking style and her dishes. Casa Bunicii puts children on the first place. The restaurant features a playground, highchairs and a special miniature toilet. Moreover, the kids eat free at our restaurant when choosing meals from the "Kids Menu". We are awaiting for your visit, Casa Bunicii.
